As a primary school, St Joseph's is privileged with its onsite facilities. The site includes the parish church, the combined parish and school hall, a large, well grassed oval, a multipurpose court (tennis, netball and basketball), a cricket net, a basketball half-court, shaded play areas, two adventure playgrounds (one for P - Year 3 and one for Year 4-7), tuckshop facilities, an expansive library, administration block, classroom facilities, and an area for specialist teachers. The school is also able to utilise an Art room and Music room in the Gayndah Arts and Cultural Centre adjacent to the school property.
In addition, the school is well resourced in the area of technology, with each classroom serviced by at least three computers, which in turn is networked with forty wireless laptop computers and ipad2s available for use in all classrooms. Internet and intranet facilities are available, and students are further able to access technology through digital cameras in each classroom, a video camera and educational software for each year level. Each classroom also contains an interactive whiteboard to further enhance the teaching and learning practices.
