RATIONALE:

At St Joseph’s, all our practices and endeavours throughout the school are to be just and equitable in the management of our human, physical and financial resources. Reflecting the spirit of our Mission and Vision Statements, we are committed to the provision of quality, affordable and inclusive Catholic education to all who desire it for their children. This is achieved through responsible, accountable and transparent management and planning.

At St Joseph’s, we will realise the vision and mission of Jesus by being good stewards of our human, physical and financial resources. We will be accountable and transparent in our management of these resources, and in reviewing, reflecting and improving the operation of our school. We are committed to the provision of quality education and upholding the principles of justice, equity and accessibility to all.

PRINCIPLES:                 Therefore, we are committed to –

  • developing a long term plan for the physical layout and educational resourcing for St Joseph’s School
  • ensuring the collaboratively developed strategic renewal plan is in operation within the school, and that the Principal reports to the school in relation to these goals
  • ensuring budgeting processes align resources effectively to the mission and strategic renewal plan of the school
  • developing communication and marketing strategies to increase the awareness of the purposes, benefits and value of Catholic education
  • ensuring that the school fee and levy policies and processes are consistent with principles of justice, equity and accessibility
